These Things Make Me Happy...

My favorite new smoothie recipe for breakfast...(thanks Kelly!)
2c spinach, 1c cherries, 1c almond milk, 1/2c yogurt, 1tbs chia seeds, protein powder...water as needed to mix
Picking this up in the morning at the post office...
Team Trakkers and Rev3 gear!
Riding to work...
Main Street, Holeb, Maine
With Bailey riding shotgun...
EXTREME close up.  He sniffed the camera as I shot the picture.  I liked the photo.
Coming home to this in the afternoon...
Thank you SO much SBR Sports, Inc!! I have been a fan since my first sample in a SWAG bag...
My awesome green Trakkers colored gloves my friends Kristel & Scot gave me...
Seriously, they are perfect, right???
Gearing up for a cold run...
Ok. It wasn't that cold after I got going. But it started out FREEZING!

Ending 8 miles like this...
Sunset on the Kennebec River
Thinking about the fact that it is only 163 days until....
Ironman Lake Placid
Have an awesome evening everyone!

Love the picture of Bailey even it is just his nose!

Spinach and cherries in a shake? Interesting... I'm skeptical, but I trust your judgment.

I tried Chia Seeds after reading Born to Run. Gotta say, the only thing I got of out them was, well, being very very regular. OMG.

Love the flow of the story! I'm glad to see you're still out there regardless of weather!

I'll have to come back to this recipe to try it out once I can gather up all the ingredients. I'll be adventurous....

I've got six things, but one doesn't belong here, I've got six things, but one doesn't belong.
Which of the six things doesn't belong here?
Which of the six things shouldn't be in this song?

Spinach.

I love spinach smoothies too. I used to make my kids drink them until my friends told that was mean.

Great photo of Bailey's nose! Looks like you had a pretty stinkin' wonderful day!

Mandy... no. That shake/smoothy garbage you have in the blender, looks AND sounds disgusting.

YOU WILL NOT trick me.

Way to nail the runs. You look like us running... a bank robber :)

Thanks for the smoothie recipe - I am going to have to try it! My friend gave me a recipe for a kale smoothie that I tried awhile ago, and I think I went a little overboard with putting kale in, because it ended up being pretty gross. I bet the cherries and almond milk give this one a nice flavor though!

Those gloves are SO kick-ass, and the right colors. Let's hope it is cold enough to wear them at a race? Oh wait... maybe not.

I just tried the smoothie recipe and it is AWESOME! :) I bought a bag of frozen mixed berries (cherries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries) at Trader Joe's since I couldn't find just cherries but it still tastes really good. Thanks again for sharing!!
