Wahooo!

So I have some really awesome fantastic news. 

Since I was in the woods all day tromping through the snow, I was going to wait until tomorrow and do a nice composed post, with some witty thoughts and funny asides. 

But I said screw it. I am way too excited.  I am just telling you all right now. 

I have been invited to be part of Team Trakkers!!

Yeah, that's right, the Caratunk Girl will be wearing green this year!  WAHOO!  I am so thankful and excited to be invited to be part of the team, I can barely talk.

Wait. That is ridiculous.  Of course I can talk. 

I never dreamed that when I started this blog a year ago that such an amazing opportunity would spring from it, I am so thankful.  I remember following various Team Trakker members blogs through the past summer, thinking man, those guys look like they are really having a BLAST.  I have to admit, I was a little jealous. 

So I applied for the team, not really thinking I would really even be considered.  I am pretty sure my application said something like, "Hi! Short scrappy chick from Caratunk, ME.  Not real fast, but pretty funny. Lots of heart. Um. Here, read my blog."

Anyway, long story short, I am thrilled. Ecstatic. Happy happy.  Doing the snoopy dance.

I want to thank Carole and Charlie for all of their hard work, and thank you to all the awesome folks at Rev3 and Trakkers.  I am so excited to be part of the team!

I was waiting to find out whether or not I made the team to decide my final race schedule for 2011.  That info will follow, but I will be doing at least 1 Rev3 race (Rev3 Quassy for sure), hopefully 2 races if things work out OK.  I hope I get to meet some of you there!

More details to come soon. Right now, I'm so excited I need to go do a butt kicking trainer ride to get rid of all of this energy.
