Muttley Monday: Working Dog

292 days until Ironman Lake Placid!

Welcome to the second installment of Muttley Mondays, where I post a few pictures of my buddy Bailey.  This week he was busy at work, working on getting a part of the operators lunches and snacks.  He even kicked a guy out of his machine to show him how to make his ditches a little more narrow.

Showing the excavator operator how it is done.

I have learned that it is tough to write a triathlon blog when you are not doing much training.  Well, tough for me anyway.  Plus, work has been really busy so I haven't had a lot of time to post or read your blogs - I am going to get on that, promise!

Good morning Mandy! Love Muttley Monday...great idea. I have the opposite going on here. So much time training, work is killing me, and i have a half written post that i started yesterday waiting in draft mode. Oh well! Upward & onward. By the way 60 degrees here this AM-perfect for my last long run, which i'm happy to report is DONE!

Muttley Monday is my favorite!
What a handsome working partner!
P.S. if you're bored not training, you could take half of my training. I'm sure we could work out a deal somehow!

Yeah, I use my blog as the reason to workout. I go, what will I write about with no training?! Guess I have to at least lift haha.

Take some much needed recovery time :)

Okay, I really need to hang with Bailey one day soon!

As for the blog ideas: Go watch any of the cable news morning shows. Get pissed off - this will usually take like 4mins of watching. Blog about what just pissed you off. If we had like 27 hour days I seriously could do another blog entirely about politics - no one would read it but I'd feel much better!

So Bailey is single? We never see him with other dogs. Don't know what to post about? Have Jeff guest post.

Hey Bailey, doughnuts are bad for you, grab their sandwiches instead! ;)

What's the compensation package - does the dog get medicare?

You always read my blog Mandy, and comment on Facebook, and dailymile. ... I guess you just don't like the others and made up some excuse! (oops how do I erase that last part?)

I wish I could bring Holly (my pitbull) to work with me. The ay would be much better with her at my side growling and inmates asking me stupid questions. But I wouldnt get much accomplished becasue we'd spend most of the day on the floor playing with a ball.

Great idea for a Monday post

I noticed I am training less cuz of the offseason, yet I seem more behind on everything around the house!!
